Another nice day

Alison and I went down to the Royal St Lawrence Yacht Club to grab all the sails and extra ropes and such. Last winter Mr Nydam just left everything in the boat but we decided to store everything at the CLD in the storage room. We won't leave much on the baot when we out the tarps on it.

Another nice warm day, around 26c and sunny. As soon as we stuffed everything in her trunk we headed over to Clyde's in The Villiage to have lunch outside.

Imagine, October 3rd sitting outside on a terrace in shorts drinking a beer and having lunch! I am going to Air Force tomorrow but every other day this week that it is nice I will be sitting outside on a terrace someplace sipping a beer and having lunch. Need to take advantage of it while you can. It gets cold soon enough around here.

Yea for Global Warming!

Ok, just kidding about that BUT what can you say about spending the first Sunday of October in shorts and a bathing suit top sitting in a sailboat?

We had to move the sailboat today from the Venture Club to The Royal St Lawrence Yacht Club so it can hibernate over winter. Absolutlely gorgeous day, sunny, thin wispy clouds. Only downer was there was no wind so we had to use the motor to go there. Oh well.

Packed up all the sails and generally got it ready to be lifted out of the water except for taking the mast down. We'll do that next week.

So now we have the count down to next sailing season.
