Another Thursday, another Alouette game. Luckily it didn't add up to another loss as the Alouettes beat the Rough Riders something like 42 to 18.
So, being rather tired of the crummy, overpriced beer at the stadium, Sandra decided to make margaritas for the game. Not being one to let an opportunity go by I pulled out the plastic margarita glasses I bought in California plus the margarita salt. On the way to the game I bought a lime so we were all set.
Mark didn't show up so I sat with the gang (they are split on 2 rows, rows 3 and 4 and I am in row 24 of the same section). Much to the amusement of the surrounding fans I pulled out my pocket knife to cut the lime, rubbed the rim, dipped the glasses in the salt then Sandra poured the margaritas.
Felt quite decadent sitting there with our margarita glasses sipping margaritas. We had enough for 2 servings (ok, Brady only had one serving but he was drinking beer when we had the first round plus we only had three glasses so Brady used his beer cup for his portion). Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me to catch such an act. We also had chips and salsa, I was tempted to bring my sombrero, maybe next time.
Next game is in two week, think we'll do it again!
